Replaceable Element Diesel Particulate Filter

The BP DPF is designed as a low cost approach for elimination of particulate (soot) from diesel engine exhausts. The BP DPF will allow machines and vehicles to operate in environmentally sensitive areas, improving operator health and safety, and preventing the soiling of warehouse goods.

This product is particularly useful when exhaust temperatures are insufficient for “passive” regeneration type filters and when electrical supply is unavailable or unsuitable for “active” regeneration type filters.
The BP DPF uses replaceable filter elements to achieve particulate reductions of up to 95%. The product has been fully tested and approved under the Swiss VERT project. The rugged casing is made of stainless steel and tool-grade aluminum. The casing cover is fastened with a quick-action clamp, allowing fast and easy replacement of filter elements.

The exchangeable elements are constructed with a multi-layer ceramic weave technique with differentiated filtering characteristics. This allows capture of particles of all sizes. The material used is non-flammable. The element will last from 200 to 400 engine hours between replacement.
The BP DPF is used as an addition to the standard exhaust muffler. A pressure sensor is supplied which indicates the filter element change requirement via a signal lamp and buzzer. This signal lamp and buzzer can be cab mounted.

This is a very cost effective solution for smaller diesel engines in particular small construction plant and materials handling equipment, small generators, etc.
